Welcome to Total Training Essentials for Dreamweaver CS3. I’m Janine Warner author of more than a dozen books about the internet and I love teaching web design because it’s so much fun to see what everyone creates.
In this lesson you get an introduction to Dreamweaver CSS features. Learn the difference between tag, class and id selectors and create your first CSS layout. So come on let me show you some style. We’ll create layouts like this one with staggered dips with this up and down effect. And this one with 2 columns of text and images. You can see that using CSS you can change the display of any HTML text, making a list like this one span across the page horizontally. And a list like this one continue to display vertically. Get your site singing, dancing and moving your visitors to action with a little multimedia.
You’ll see now my video place, I can ‘pause’ it and I have these little flash buttons with a simple little rollover effect, that’s built into the Flash file and it’s dependant on the style of the Flash button that you use.
If I clicked on that you’ll see I go to my turtle game.
In case you didn’t see the video in part 1 of this series… here it is again
