Welcome back. In this video I’m going to show you how to register domain name. And then point the name servers of your domain name towards your web hosting company.

So here I’m in my ‘Control’ panel of ‘GoDaddy.com’ and this is a domain name I’ve registered DreamweaverHowTo.com and thing you want to look for is the name servers. You need to set the name servers with your hosting company -ur- with your domain name company to point towards your hosting company. So we’ll click on this and here we see the options for name servers.

These are what mine our currently set to. Let’s look at the name servers for a hosting company. Here I’ve done a Google search for web host and I found this site here – HostMySite.com and this is just a sample site. I can’t say I recommend this host or don’t recommend it. Uh it’s just one that I picked out.

But I’m going to click on the support beam and I’m going to search for ‘name server’ or right here we’re gonna see ‘DNS information’ for domain name server, click on that. What are HostMySite’s name servers? – That’s the information that we’re looking for.
