Adobe DreamWeaver Turorial CS3 – Styling text using proper
Hi, here is another cool video of Adobe Dreamweaver. In this I am gonna show how to style text of a webpage in Dreamweaver using a property inspector. This is very useful as you can color whichever text you want that too in simple steps. You observe number of website having text nicely colored. Its not necessary, those has been colored using complicated software, Adobe Dreamweaver can also do that kind of coloring work. Let’s see how simple it is with this video.
It is very simple to understand.
In this video we gonna look at styling the text in Dreamweaver by using property inspector. I have opened a file called companytext.html, if you are working along with me you can find the source file, using this tutorial, in the details area of the video workshop. Now when we are talking about styling text, I am referring to taking some text on your webpage, and changing any combination of its face, font size, its color and so on. And it is generally accepted that theses days, instead of selecting text on your page, and changing it after by property inspector. For example, selecting some text, making it bold, picking the font, and setting it in color, you should stay in with cascading style sheets, using the CSS panel to design the look of all of your text dimensions instead applying this style to your text. Until and more about working of CSS, you should be watching the videos on CSS, in this workshop. For this time, we are just working on a very small, collection of pages using the property inspector, for fun. Lets, look it how it works.
Right now, I have this plain unformed text on this webpage, and nothing else. To format text, just like with a word processor, I just need to highlight the text that you wanna to change. So I can make changes down here in property inspector. So its how is the text change is beginning. With this text selected I am gonna come down here at property inspector and, just click B make it bold. You can see that there. And if switched over to code view for a moment, you can see Dreamweaver adds a strong tag, around that text to make it bold. Lets make it back in the design view. Now I am gonna change the text’s font. So first select that, and I can select the font from the font menu, here in the property inspector.
