This movie is for PC users only. If you are on a Macintosh you don’t want to watch this. This is not for you.

Under the PC version of Dreamweaver of MX 2004 the first time you launched the application you’re going to be asked to specify your work space set up. And this does nothing more than sort of configure the different panel and windows within Dreamweaver according to your preference and you have 2 options here. You can either be a designer or a coder. Now those of you that are upgrading from Dreamweaver MX might remember that there was a 3rd option available in Dreamweaver MX that would allow you to configure your workspace so that it resembled the old Dreamweaver 4 workspace.

That is no longer available. You only have these 2 options. The designer work space is an integrated work space so is the coder one in fact. Except that the designer work space is set up for working with visual elements and its true that – what you see is what you get or vis- a -vig environments.
