I briefly alluded to the reporting functions available to you in dreamweaver 8; lets then have couple of minutes now talking about them little more in detail.

All right, depending upon what sample of reporting you trying to run, you can access couple of reports directly, by right clicking folders. Things like that you can also go to site –reports. Ok we talked about this and we can see checked outs. Things like that, you can also go to site and choose check links site wide. So in quickly coming here, and run this, and looks here we have only one link and that’s broken and that’s our, for mail which we know is working so that’s fine.

We going to our validation, and we quickly process and looks like we have got some bad issues here, some break tags so we will go through in all quickly give us some information. We can also, there are some really cool things, like we can find and replace not only text, but we can also find and replace source code.

So if we did accidentally, may be umm our website address or phone number is 555, and we wanna replace that with 555-444, I can go in and say replace all.
