Hi welcome to photoshop tutorial post. In this tutorial, you will learn about how to create HDR image from a single file. You will enjoy creating HDR image by watching this video. With the simple to follow steps, you will create it easily. You will not get any difficulty while creating HDR image using this video.
Welcome to the Photoshop tutorial from tutorvid.com. This tutorial is going to show you how to create an HDR image from a single file. So the file I am going to use is this one here in a landscape from rap creation. So I took in a raw format, which is necessary to use this technique. So bring it into Photoshop, just drag and drop it. Now to create HDR image, we want to get two different images or more than that but I will be using two. Get these two different images into Photoshop with two different text photo signs. So the first one I am gonna look at this buildings down here. That gonna be my lighter area so bring up the exposure a little bit just the color temperature to a .
All right, so I am happy with that. Quick open an image and then I am going back into bridge and drag and drop it into Photoshop again. And now we are looking at the sky So. I will now bring down exposure a lot and you can see because the image was taken in a raw format. The lot information in the whites that would n’t have being in there if I taken it in JPEG so I can put this down and give it a bit of more blue and bring up black a bit. Alright keep it there you can see that this fore ground is extremely dark but I am just looking at the sky. So I would open an image and you can see I have the same image set for two. So to get this near the file I am gonna copy it all. so select all or press control A and then copy go to other image and paste it .
Now you have the two layers on top of each other. And create there and for then for first step I am going to create a gradient . so go to the gradient tool, make sure you have white and black you can press the d button. Or this here to select the defaults and then make sure you are on this here foreground background gradient and you just regular line. And then try a gradient in the right direction and you can see the two blended images. Now I have some problem appeared which are connected with the patch tool now I to check out the tutorial on that if you are not sure how they work.
All right and now to just the place individually with curves I going to create a just a layer of curves and now to make it only affect this layer below, I will first show right now for making the adjustment it will affect the whole image but if I press this here link down in a link to layer below. And now it will affect only the sky. So that what I want to do I have a little bit and create some good contrast and then i will make another curves there for the bottom area. And now I have just done the gradient to merge this two layers together but if you go in and brush on the layer mask you can and bring out some more highlights in the specific areas of the image.
If you are not sure of how layer mask works ,you can check out the tutorial on those, but if you paint a few specific areas in your layer mask you can create a nice effect. And finishing up here I am going to create a little bit of a pinnate and may be bring up this edge a little bit more a two and little more contrast in the water perhaps. And you have it there is the after and the before to go with more tutorials on tutorvid.com
