This is videogamegroupie.com and i am gonna show you how to imbed a YouTube video into a website using dream weaver CS3.
Click a YouTube video and in this case i am gonna use mine. Go into the URL and change watch, question mark, v equals, which actually stands for “watch V equal” this. change the question mark to a slash and the equal sign to a slash and hit enter. this will bring the entire embedding code select all copy and open up dream waver. In dream weaver open up the HTML file you want to embed your YouTube video into. In this case i am using a new html file click on the flash icon button and select flash.
Another way to get to this is select insert media flash or ctrl alt F. in the select file menu change relative tube to site route. to lead the filth the URL filth, and paste the embedded source code that you got from the YouTube site. Select ok give the object tag a name and in the properties inspector change the width height 425 to 355. this is the default size for YouTube video. Next, save the html file then preview in one of your browsers
In case you didn’t see the video in part 1 of this series… here it is again.

Hi, this is awesome!!! So neat. Thanks for the clear instructions, very well done (even I could follow that)
Small problem, how do you exclude having “related videos” after your video is finished?
There’s some weird videos on youtube these days and I dont want anything to do with them.
I understand the customize option where you can click on “Don’t include related videos” but this new code doesn’t mix well with dream weaver
Thanks for you help in advance, keep up the great work!!

I tried your tutorial and when I modified the url with the slash marks and hit return, it gave me the modified url but opened the video as a full page video. It did not give me an embed code. I tried it several times exactly like you indicated. What am I doing wrong?

I figured it out. I am using DW CS4 and all I did was insert it into the code page and it worked. I don’t understand it because the first time I tried it all the Embed code showed up on the actual page, but I tried again and it is OK. Thanks
